Refund and Cancellation Policy
What happens when you cancel, and how we handle refunds for memberships, credits and gifts.
Working draft
Membership renewal and cancellation
Memberships are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your membership page; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charge is made.
A part-used month is not normally refunded, because plan benefits — conversation starts and monthly credits — are released at the start of the period.
Credits
Credits are consumed immediately when you use a paid action. Unused purchased credits can be considered for a refund within 14 days of purchase if none of them have been spent.
Credits already spent on a feature that was delivered — a priority introduction, a call, a virtual gift — are not refundable. Credits are never exchangeable for cash.
Virtual gifts
A virtual gift is delivered the moment you send it and cannot be recalled or refunded. It has no cash value.
Real gifts
A real gift order can be cancelled for a full refund until we begin preparing it. Once it has been prepared or dispatched it cannot be cancelled.
If an item is unavailable we will offer an equivalent item or a full refund. If a delivery fails through our fault or a partner's, we will re-send or refund it.
Concierge packages
A matchmaking package can be cancelled for a full refund before curation work begins. After introductions have been prepared, the fee reflects work already carried out and is not refundable.
Accounts closed for breaking the rules
Where an account is closed for asking members for money, for scam behaviour or for serious harassment, unused balances are not refunded.
How to ask
Send a request through our secure support form at /support, or email support@realthaimatch.com, with your account email and what you would like refunded. Refunds are returned through the same payment method used for the purchase, and the timing then depends on your bank or payment provider.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
